Annamalai University BE Part Time Program

The Annamalai University conducts an entrance examination for admission to its seven semesters Part Time degree program in engineering into its various engineering departments. The Part Time B.E degree programs offered by Annamalai University are considered equivalent to that of the regular B.E program for purpose of higher studies and job.

The Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) is awarded to the candidates after the successful completion of the course. However, those applicants whose work place is within a radius of 75 Km from Annamalainagar are not allowed to apply for the programs.

Eligibility Criteria of Part Time Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) program

Civil and Structural Engineering

The candidate must have a diploma in Civil / Civil and Structural program conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination with a Professional experience of three years in a recognized industry / organization.

Mechanical Engineering

The candidate must have a diploma in Mechanical program conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination with a Professional experience of three years in a recognized industry / organization.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The candidate must have a diploma in Electrical and Electronics program conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination with a Professional experience of three years in a recognized industry / organization.

Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

The candidate must have a diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics and Communication / Computer Science and Engineering / Instrumentation and Control / Electronics Engg. / Information Technology conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination with a Professional experience of three years in a recognized industry / organization.

Chemical Engineering

The candidate must have a diploma in Chemical Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination a Professional experience of three years in a recognized industry / organization.
Minimum Experience: 3 years after passing Diploma Course
The application should be sent through their employers.

Annamalai University BE Part Time Seat Allocation

The seat allotment for the BE Part Time is done on the basis of the number of applicants and there is no fixed number of seats.

Annamalai University BE Part Time Admission Process

Annamalai University only conducts the BE Part Time programs only if it receives sufficient numbers of applications and on the basis of the entrance examination which is followed by an interview, the candidates are selected.
