Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli

The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (also known as IIM T or IIM Trichy) was founded in 2011 and was mentored by IIM Bangalore. It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Management the Indian government had set up during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan.

IIM Trichy Programs

Post Graduate Programme in Management

The two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is the flagship programme of IIM Tiruchirappalli. Its main objective is to develop young women and men into competent professional managers achieving excellence in performance while contributing to the welfare of the larger society.

Admission

The admission process is based on the candidate's performance in Common Admission Test, Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis Test (WAT), academic record and relevant work experience.

Post Graduate Programme in Human Resources (PGPM-HR)

The two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Human Resources (PGPM-HR) is aims to develop young women and men into competent professional HR managers, capable of working in any sector of organized activity, proceeding leadership and achieving excellence in performance while contributing to the welfare of the larger society.

The admission process is based on the candidate's performance in Common Admission Test, Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis Test (WAT), academic record and relevant work experience.

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

The Fellow Programme in Management is a full-time doctoral programme that offers students opportunities for research in different areas of Management. Currently IIM Trichy has 24 students in the Fellow Programm. They work in the areas of Economics & Public Policy, Finance & Accounting, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management and Strategy.

Admission in FPM

FPM enrolls students who are focused upon taking up academic and research positions across the globe after completing their doctoral studies. Individuals with strong academic credentials coupled with relevant orientation / work experience in the field of management are desirable.

PGPBM

IIM Tiruchirappalli launched the PGPBM programme to groom working executives who aspire to move into senior leadership roles. It is aimed at working professionals who wish to enhance their skills in any sector of organized activity even as they contribute to the welfare of society at large.

Executive Education Programmes

The Executive Education Programmes are both short duration and long duration programmes. These are specifically designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of the working executives. The programs are attended either by executives of organisations who take up the open courses designed specifically by the faculty or a customised program.
