Amrita University Eligibility Criteria

For the bachelors in mass communication all the applying must have passed 10+2 level of study with an aggregate minimum of 50% in Higher Secondary Examination.

For MA in Mass Communication and Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism, all applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognized university. Those who have scored 70% or more will be exempted from written entrance exam and granted admission directly.

For PhD in Communication one should successfully complete their masters in communication from a recognized university.

Amrita University Masscomm Exam Pattern

For the candidates who are appearing for the undergraduate program, students are selected on the basis of entrance exam and personal interview

Selection for M.A. and Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism is also based on entrance exam followed by GD and interview.

Selection for PhD in Communication is based on an interview.
