Established in the year 2002, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. Ever since its establishment, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management has been playing an important role in sensitizing and professionalizing the textiles industry, by creating successful professionals, who distinguish themselves by their intellectual capital, commitment to excellence and continuous development.
With changing time frame, the Institute has been taking pro-active steps to adopt itself to the changing dynamics of the textiles sector. Latest technologies are employed for effective delivery and the curriculum emphasizes practice orientation, in the areas of research, consultancy, executive development and knowledge management. SVPISTM Academic Programmes and Eligibility
B.Sc. Textiles (3 years Full Time)
- A Pass in Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with science stream/vocational stream with textile subjects having 50% of marks for General and 45% marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PWD candidates.
B.Sc. - Technical Textiles (3 years Full Time)
- A Pass in Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with science stream/vocational stream with textile subjects having 50% of marks for General and 45% marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PWD candidates.
BBA - Textile Business Analytics (3 years Full Time)
- A Pass in Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India (any stream) having 50% of marks for General and 45% marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PWD candidates.
MBA (Textile Management)
MBA (Apparel Management)
MBA - Technical Textiles Management
- A Graduate from any discipline recognized by UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 15 years (10 + 2 + 3 / 4) of education and with a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PWD candidates at graduate level.
MBA (Retail Management)
- A Graduate from any discipline recognized by UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 15 years (10 + 2 + 3 / 4) of education and with a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% marks for OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/PWD candidates at graduate level.
SVPISTM Admission Procedure
Candidates are admitted to the above courses through SVP Entrance Test conducted by SVPISTM or Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) SVPET (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Entrance Test) is conducted by SVPISTM for admitting 60% of intake for PG programme and 50% of intake for UG programme. CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test) is conducted by NTA for admitting 40% of intake for PG programme and 50% of intake for UG programme.
